IN WRITING THIS I HOPE MANY PEOPLE READ IT AND UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE
TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE
I am writing this to be published in all newspapers and magazines it may never get printed but if it does I am hoping it will help out in a way
I am an American citizen that has had enough with the way life in this country is going and has been going for years.
It is time the American people wake up and smell the coffee we have been taken advantage of for to many years and it is time we take back our rights as American citizens and make this nation what it is supposed to be and not what it has come to be.
It is time we as American people tell the government that it is time to start looking to helping the people of this great nation and stop helping people from other nations that think we owe them something as far as I am concerned we do not owe any one anything and we should not be responsible for others hardships when we have many of our own hardships right here in this country.
It is getting bad when someone from a foreign nation can come into this country ask for help and get it when people that were born and raised in this country can not get help it is bad when people that have worked all there lives payed taxes and did what it took to make this country the way it is have to live on cat food or dog food cause they can not afford to live with what they make from retirement.
I would like to know where the millions on millions of dollars that are payed into social security have gone and why when I am able to retire I will not be able to cause there will be no money to retire on I would like to know why some one or some business that think they are owed something from the federal government can get the help when the average working class can not.
We the people of this nation see what we are let to see we do not see advertisements on TV about the poor and undernourished in this country we see about the other countries that we send money to that the people do not see we see about the tons of food and medical supplies that are sent to these other nations that are not used to help the people that they were meant for we do not hear or see about the millions of tax dollars that are given to these poverties nations and what it is used for and why do we not see it it is because it is not used for the purpose it was meant for.
It is time the American people start telling our elected officials that it is time to look in our backyard and help ourselves out of the situation that we are in before we look to help others.
I have watched people for years that I have known or have grown up with loose everything because they can not live on what they make a week I have seen the rich get richer and the poor get poorer I have seen people die because they can not afford medical attention cause it is so outrageous that you either can not afford it or you have to go into debt to get it I do not see why medical attention in this country is so expensive and that our governmental leaders should be able to either come up with a way to make it affordable for everyone not just the wealthy it is time AMERICA to stand up and be noticed and make this country what it was a VERY PROUD NATION one that is not afraid to hold its head up high and say hey we are able to do it and if you would learn from us instead of taking from us you could do it to.
I do not condone what happened at the trade towers or in Washington or in Pennsylvania and I do believe that the people that gave their lives are true heroes and that they should be remembered as heroes.
In our hearts and our minds but it is time for us as Americans to put a stop to all of this and what I mean by al of this is terrorism and violence and drugs and everything that plagues us today as a society that says it is strong and will overcome these trials and tribulations we are no stronger than any other nation out there we just hide ours better than they do.
We have the same problems here that they have there we just do not cry on everyone's shoulders like they do and get millions of dollars that they use for there pleasure and not for what it is meant to be used for.
You would figure we would learn a lesson from world war II and not let things like that happen again but no we are a nation that when a crisis happens will put our guard up for awhile but as soon as we figure it is all over we let our guard down and get ready for the next time something happens then we are the ones left holding the bag.
I am not against people coming into this country to try to better there lives what I am against is those people getting help from our government and when an American needs it he is told that there is no money or no help available I do not agree that someone that is excepted to this country should be given the money to start there own business when a person that has worked all there lives and have paid taxes to the government should be told that they do not qualify what makes the government or the people that control these agencies think that someone that is new to this country has more knowledge to run his or her own company when they can not even help the American people that are born and raised here start there own.
It is time we as Americans stand up and be heard and let this government that we supposedly elected know that it is time to start helping in this country and stop giving foreign aid to those who are not willing to help themselves.
I for one as an American who was born and raised in this great nation am fed up with not being able to make ends meet and to have to work three jobs just so my family can have a roof over there head and so I can put food on my table I would like to see some of the elected officials that we put into office live the way some people in this country live in cardboard boxes or in there automobiles or on park benches or where ever they can find a place and do what they have to find food like some do on a daily basis.
This is a great nation but I hate to say it but we have gone soft over the years and we are getting softer and softer as the years go by.
They say the world was destroyed by ice and then by water and they do not know how it is going to be destroyed if it is to be destroyed again but I as one think the next destruction of the world is going to be man cause man does not know what he is doing every day to work towards the destruction but he is slowly destroying himself and if he keeps following the course he is following he will destroy himself.
